Photo Synchronization to iCloud Not Working - Back-up Will Not Resume.

Dear Community,

My wife’s iPad and laptop have no problem synchronizing new photos to iCloud. But her iPhone will not synchronize any new photos taken. It continues to say out of memory in iCloud despite my plan being upgraded and plenty of space available.

I have tried turning off iCloud and restarting it, and that worked at first, then the problems started again. In the photos app, it states that the photos cannot be backed up and no option to resume.

Does anyone have any thoughts?

Well, it seems an entire fresh wipe and restart of her phone was the solution. We didn’t want to go this route as we were worried about the loss of photo data, but it seems all is OK.

If it's saying that on the iPhone, then it should also be saying that on her iPad as well. Does she have the same iCloud storage capacity on both devices?

No, that was the odd part. It was working fine on the iPad and the computer. The same iCloud storage was available across her account.
