itunes playing censored version of purchased explicit songs

I've purchased and downloaded songs on itunes that are explicit but for some reason they are only playing as censored on my macbook. On my iphone, the same file plays as explicit. I can't work it out. I've gone through the itunes settings on macbook. Any ideas peeps??

Do you also have an Apple Music subscription? If so, the cloud version may have replaced the purchased download, and did a mismatch in the process.


If that is the case, delete the subscription copy and re-download the purchased copy:
