ive tried restarting my macbook air still says no camera available. What do I do next?

Im getting a no camera connected message on my macbook air. I've tried restarting it with no success. What is the next option?

They have followed all of the recommended fixes (restart, check for apps using the camera, OS updates, and resetting SMC). Eventually, restarting or resetting the SMC eventually work, but only after several failed attempts. Why hasn't this issue been addressed by Apple? Has anyone had success addressing this problem? Camera is not identified Hi, I am using MacBook Pro 13" 2017 Model. Its based on Intel i5. Camera is not functioning on my system. I tried SMC reset and updated to latest version 11.4 but nothing is fixing the camera function. All the camera enabled apps say that no camera is found or something similar.
