I normally don’t have or I should say haven’t had a issue BEFORE retrieving my old messages from a old iPhone to a new one. I recently bought the iPhone 11 and don’t have my old iPhone but I was hoping with using my iCloud and signing in with my info my OLD messages would pop up. I have important information in those texts , a few actually.. is there anyway I can retrieve them ?

Were you syncing Messages with iCloud when using the old phone? If not , you may need to restore a backup of the old phone to the new phone. Restoring from a backup erases all data currently on your device. Any data newer than when the backup was made will be erased. A restore is an all or nothing restore. You can't access a backup and only restore certain files.
