Can’t set wallpapers from shortcuts.

There used to be an option to set wallpapers from shortcuts but is was removed in ios 13 due to some security flaw. Is there any news if it will be back? I really miss this feature.

How do I change the wallpaper from shortcuts in iOS 16? I used to have an automation that would allow me to have a daytime wallpaper and a nighttime wallpaper, but iOS 16 broke the automation because now it just makes a new wallpaper every time it changes it so when I run out of room for new wallpapers it just sets it to a black screen. Is there a new shortcut method for choosing between two already made wallpapers or did apple make it where we can change the wallpaper automatically at sunset and sunrise? Seems like a major oversight from apple of they took away this option and didn’t make a new one.

Turn off wallpaper shortcut How do I turn off the Lock Screen shortcut to change wallpaper? My phone keeps going to the shortcut and on occasion deleting my existing wallpaper settings accidentally while I am holding my phone and doing other activities such as walking, talking with friends, in meetings. I would really like to switch off the shortcut!

I can't delete Wallpapers from my iPhone SE running iOS16 I can't delete Wallpapers from my iPhone SE running iOS16? The method described in resources and in many web posts I find doesn't work for me - tapping and holding on the home screen does not bring up the the Wallpaper Gallery on my iPhone SE and other older iPhones. Does anyone have any suggestions or similar experiences?
