Family sharing - parent not receiving any “ask to buy” requests. Not working. What to do?

Ask to buy requests are not received by parent. Child requesting on iphone, but request does not go to parent. Where to find request?

Apple Family Sharing Ask To Buy Not Working I had set up a guardian / child account via Apple Family Sharing & had no issues until 1-2 months ago. The child account with my child's apple id is signed into my child's iPad. I control via my own iPhone (signed in with my apple ID). We have ask to buy set up in Apple Family Sharing. For some reason, over the past 1-2 months, whenever my child attempts to download and app or purchase something in app & submits an ask to buy request it never shows up on my phone. Usually there is no error message, the ask to buy request seems to process but we just are not getting the request on my iphone. Any help would be appreciated

Family sharing-Ask to purchase not working Looks like there was a thread regarding this question from years ago that no one ever answered. I have family sharing for my daughter's phone and I am supposed to get some sort of message when she "asks to purchase" something, but I receive nothing. We cannot proceed with actually downloading apps as a result unless I turn off the family sharing (which I'm not willing to do). Is there a solution to this?

Here’s how to enable Ask to Buy:

Go to Settings, then click on your Apple ID
Click Family Sharing, then the child.
Enable Ask to Buy

If it still isn’t working, then follow the steps on this link:

Thanks. But I have already done that. Whenever my daughter tries to install an app, it prompts “ask parent” but the request never comes through to me.
