Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

my mssgs were hacked. invited me to see a video i may have been in. I gave others the virus. i purchases

phone hacked. open a mssg. on messages had in invite to see a video i may have m

been in.

transferred me to a security app. checked on it. took over my phone. i gave others viruses

Installed Norton.

Hiw do i know if the hack has been wiped out.

Norton says phone is all clean.

How can i be sure. Thank you.

there are no known hacks/viruses/malware for a non jailbroken device.

Norton or any other AV tool cannot even scan an iPhone or iPad like they would on a computer. iOS and iPadOS do not allow apps to scan or access other apps files or storage space.


So those AV apps for iOS are nothing more than ad blockers for your web browser, at best. They really are quite pointless in a sandboxed operating system like iOS or iPadOS.
