I have an iPhone X with iOS 13.5.1. When I try to open the wallet, add a card or use Apple Pay, the wallet completely locks at a white screen. In settings, when I select the wallet or Apple Pay, it’s locks up the settings app. How do I reset it without a full wipe of the phone?

looks like you have to erase your device and set it up as new - If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled - Apple Support
I've tried that twice to no avail. I am now back to the original issue, after several hours of working to restore my phone. The last lockout of apple iCloud caused my phone to stop taking the phone passcode. Incredibly frustrating. any other ideas? Without open Apple Stores nearby, I don't know what my next step would be.
Thanks so much. I am unlocked but now I have a new issue. When I attempt to add a card it says I have reached the max number (0) and I need to delete one to add any.
