I'd like to know if the new Powerbeats will work with an iPod touch 6th gen updated to the last iOS for the device (iOS 12.4.7). From what I read, "Ehi Siri" and other functions require iOS 13.2, but I just wanna know if basic bluetooth pairing will work for listening to music. I can't find any info about this. My main interest is in listening to music while jogging.

If the system requirements state that the device needs iOS 13.2 or later and your iPod does not support iOS 13 then they are not compatible.

Do you mean total compatibility? Like no bluetooth pairing? I mean, Powerbeats pro, for example, can be paired with Samsung Galaxy models. The same chip H1 is also in the new Powerbeats. Why could it not connect via bluetooth with an iPod? The compatibility with iOS 13.2 seems to concern “Ehi Siri” and “faster connectivity” functions. Nothing is stated about bluetooth pairing on the Apple website, hence my doubt and my question...
Ok, I solved it. The only way was to buy a pair of Powerbeats and to test them. Being a simple Bluetooth connection, they work also with iPod Nano 6th gen. The iPod Touch too, was easily connected.
So far, music is not an issue even if you use iOS 12.4.7 on an iPod!
