filtering URL or IP outogin

While using Firefox I closed all browser tabs and making sure nothing was open in Firefox. When I performed a command line, lsof -i it showed the following established by Firefox.

ec2-52-12-8-165.us-west-2.compute.amazonaws.com

ec2-34-199-87-86.compute-1.amazonaws.com

What is the best way to filtering outgoing traffic to the above sites.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.13

Is it safe to change the Configure Proxy Access to the Internet I'm having trouble logging into a couple of sites after a recent upgrade to Firefox, but they work in Safari. I don't want to change browsers if I don't have to. I put the question to the Mozilla community and had only one reply - to go to Network Settings and change the Configure Proxy Access to the Internet to No Proxy. I am not a tech savvy person. Is it safe to try this? MacBook Air 2015, Monterey 12.3

I have contacted Firefox and they do not know why the connection occurs. What can Apple security do to filter thoses domains?
