So I updated my iPhone 6s to the latest version 13.5.1 and whenever I leave it off for a few hours it pops up that I have a carrier settings update and I go to check and there is nothing in my updates or my storage that indicates I have an update?

If you have a notification that you have an update related to your Carrier Settings then do the following to resolve-
Open Settings ➔ General ➔ About (Pause here for a second or two). If you have a carrier settings update coming then you will be shown a window to accept the update and once you allow it then it will install.

updating carrier settings is not like an iOS update or an app update.. this is a little different. See if this helps
