AU plugins showing in Plugin Manager but not in insert FX window.

Hi there,

First time posting here, so apologies if this has already been mentioned in that past. I've done some extensive internet research already and couldn't find anything, though.

I recently set up a new MacBook Pro - a refurbished 2018 13" Quad Core i5 2.3GHz, 16GB DDR3L, Touch Bar. I am running Logic Pro X 10.5.1, as I was on my previous MacBook.

I got most of my plugins installed perfectly, and they run better than ever before. However, I have two plugins (one by Arturia and one by Plugin Alliance) that have been installed through their respective installation apps, and show up in Logic's Plugin Manager but do not show up in the Insert Audio FX menu on any channel strip.

Here's what I've tried so far:

  • I restarted my Mac post install.
  • I reset SMC and PRAM.
  • I have uninstalled both plugins and reinstalled them several times
  • I have uninstalled and reinstalled Logic Pro X
  • I have deleted the AudioUnit Cache file and made Logic rescan several times.

I can get the plugins to open up and work perfectly in Pro Tools and REAPER.

Does anybody have any ideas? I have been in touch with Arturia about this and they are unsure on the issue. I have spoken to a couple of other Logic chats with no solve unfortunately.

I hope the information I have provided is all okay, and that I am going about this in the right way! Any. thoughts, ideas or help are massively appreciated as Logic is a huge part of my job and hope to get this problem solved as soon as I can.

Thankyou!
