macbook air won’t turn on

my macbook air won’t turn, it’s a year old no water damage been dropped but no problems occurred after wards it was working perfectly fine two days ago and now will not turn on i have it plugged it but just black screen what should i do?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.14

Hello!

First, make your MacBook Air is receiving power from its charger. Is the light turning on in the charger cable when connected to the MacBook Air?
Second, make sure your brightness is up. The screen may appear black if the brightness is all the way down.
Then, disconnect all accessories from your computer (USBs, printers, etc.), press and hold the power button for 10 seconds, release the button, and then press it again.
If that does not work then you can try resetting your Mac's System Management Controller. Here is a guide on how to do it: How to reset the SMC of your Mac - Apple Support
If none of the above works, then it is most likely a hardware issue, and you should contact Apple support here: Get Support
