how to remove game centre from internet accounts when the '-' button doesn't work?

i'm trying to sign into my apple id on my mac but it says my "email is already signed into icloud" and i need to delete it from internet accounts and try again.


i've already deleted my email accounts but the game centre one won't disappear or delete when i try to '-' it. how can i remove it?

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We see that you are trying to remove your Game Center account from your Mac. Each time you try to remove it, it's still there.


Try deleting the account while in safe mode. If you're still unable to delete the account, try restarting normally and trying once more, as sometimes after being in safe mode and then restarting normally can resolve issues:
