water damaged macbook pro

A friend spilled water on my early 2015 macbook pro, now when the power button is pressed the macbook:

Makes the power on chime

Sometimes the chime gets stuck on repeat

The apple logo on the back lights up

For a split second the keyboard can be used (only know this as the caps lock light goes on if pressed during the chime but can't be turned off again after)

The screen goes to a slightly different black but is blank

The fan doesn't spin

Nothing comes up when connecting the macbook to an external display

Does anyone have any ideas if it is fixable without a completely new logic board

Thanks for any help :)

Take the computer in for service ASAP. Repairing liquid damage can be costly. Make an appointment at the Apple Genius Bar for service after the stores re-open. If you need to find an Apple Store - Find a Store - Apple. Also, see How to find your nearest Apple Authorized Service Provider (AASP) or Distributor (AAD). You may also get Apple authorized service at a local Best Buy or contact Apple Support for more options.

The computer is not salvageable without spending a lot of money, as you have been quoted at the Apple store. Your decision is between paying the repair cost or buying a new computer. If you have it repaired, should you ever need another repair, the computer will always indicate it has had liquid damage.
