Bootcamp Windows 10

How much disk space is required for a Bootcamp disk partition for only Windows 10. I am planning to run all of the programs from an external SSD and just need to put the OS on my Mac's SSD. Thanks

I recommend 256GB min for a Windows partition. Many programs won't install and run from an external drive. You will need swap space, and you will be creating data. Think about it. If you were to go look to buy a Windows computer, would you buy one with less than 500GB?
