Half my contacts have disappeared and I have iCloud storage and I can’t get them back on my phone. What do I do

Half my contacts have disappeared and I can’t seem to get my iCloud to restore my info. It auto updated last night.

Try the following - If you accidentally deleted your calendars, bookmarks, or contacts from iCloud - Apple Support.
