How do i verify a purchase in the App Store?

I’m trying to buy Minecraft and it keeps telling me I need to verify my purchase, but it won’t let me. I redeemed an iTunes gift card for $15.00. I’m also new to Apple.

Verification of Gift Cards to buy stuff. I am attempting to buy a game on the App Store but it says I need to “verify” a payment method. Only problem is that it says I can only verify a credit card and can’t use my gift card WITH BALANCE STILL LEFT ON IT.

You can modify Apple ID payment methods in Settings > [your name] > Payment.
