When I choose a sound from the Analog Lab 3 library and play it on my Keystep keyboard I can hear it as it sounds correctly. However, when I record it on a track the playback is totally different, stripped of all effects. I can't seem to find any controls that could could account for this error.

Recording to an instrument track or audio?
If the latter does it happen on a fresh project?
Have you any automation on the track when you record it ( like modulation or similar?) if so does it change the sound then or is the sound different off the bat?
Try using the pencil tool in the piano roll to draw a few notes in. Does the problem persist?
the patches are in Arturias plug in, I don’t think they can be imported into the library same as logics. The library is not just presets, but instruments and channel strip settings.
Are the FX from the Arturia lab or logics?

First of all, the software is verified in Logic. Fresh project. I'm using a software instrument track. When the record tracking is going the sound is fine, but on playback it's not the same at all. No automation just a sequenced patch. I've used this software before and it worked. It's been a while since and I can't think of any setting that could be affecting it..
Hi, thanks. Let me clarify what I mean by effects. I mean the patch is a sound from say a CS-80 they modeled and does it's thing. I'm not using any FX, it's just what the patch sounds like. But on playback is just sounds like a simple wave sound. I suppose maybe I should also contact Arturia on their forums. Also, do you know how to have the Analog Lab patches show up in the Library?
