My iPad Pro is frozen. Tried the press the volume up and power on button but will not restart.

My iPad Pro will not restart, frozen on a screen. Tried pressing power button in conjunction with the volume button to force reset but it will not. Please help!

That is the wrong method. Here is the correct method.

Press and quickly release the volume up button
Press and quickly release the volume down button
Press and hold the power button until the Apple logo appears
