Missing Power Nap Options in System Preferences - Laptop continues to reboot when in sleep mode

I have a mid 2012 Macbook Pro. Recently had to restore Mac OS (Catalina 10.15.5) in an attempt to fix the laptop rebooting after going into to sleep mode. The OS restore did not work.

I've seen posts where I should disable Power Nap. My version of Catalina OS does not provide an option to disable (see photo).

Seeking advice on why the Power Nap option is not available AND any advice on how to stop the laptop from rebooting.

Thank you.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15

If your Mac does not support Power Nap, you will not have the option.

Which Mac computers can use Power Nap?

You can use Power Nap on these Mac models:

MacBook (Early 2015 and later)

MacBook Air (Late 2010 and later)

Requires OS X Mountain Lion v10.8.2 and later

MacBook Pro (all models with Retina display)

Mac mini (Late 2012 and later)

iMac (Late 2012 and later)

Mac Pro (Late 2013)
