Lost Messages

Suddenly today all my messages disappeared on my iPhone. I did a reset and restore from iCloud backup done yesterday; however no messages retrieved. Does anyone know a way to get my messages back?

iOS 15 has deleted all my text messages Just downloaded iOS 15.2 on my 7+. All seems to be working except all of my messages are now gone. I messages turned on under iCloud, but so far, after 24 hrs, none are visible. Anyone else experience this? Is there any way to get them back? It’s kinda important that I do.

why have my messages disappeared? hello, i have an iphone 7 and i had well over 200 messages. I didn’t notice right away but today my phone deleted all of them except a few, and now i can’t find the old messages i used to have. why did it wipe out all my messages? how do i get them back?

Were you using messages in iCloud or not? If you weren't, you could restore from a backup to retrieve them but you said you tried that and it didn't work.
