iPhone 11 Pro Max has no Watch app

I bought a new 11 Pro Max and it had the watch app on it. However, when I restored my phone using my 7 plus data from iTunes, it didn’t put the Watch app on my 11Pro Max. When I search the store, all I get is OPEN, but it is not on my device. I don’t want to reset my phone and put everything back in manually as it will take quite a bit of time and I have set up my phone and settings just how I wish. Is there any way to get this app on my phone again? I’d hate to have to return the watch and the phone for my money back. I just got them yesterday. Thanks.

I'm not finding anything marked 'solved' in any of the other discussions.. or much on google.

Have you done a forced restart after turning off those settings you found on google?

Not sure if this would help or make things worse.. but I'm guessing since you are higher level than I you could recover your phone if it messes things up.. But maybe go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage and delete the watch app? Then see if it'll let you download from the App Store?
