Beta enrollment account

Hello,

I was not sure where to post this so I chose the dev forums.

So, the question.

I have a Mac mini that is not my primary device. I do use though my Apple ID on this one, and it also syncs reminders, calendar, emails, etc. The point is that if it breaks I can live without it.

If I enroll this Mac mini to the beta of the Big Sur with that account, is it possible that the data on some application can no longer be synced to my Catalina or 13 iOS devices?

e.g. my reminders on the beta have a change that this cause them to be incompatible with the application on Catalina or current iOS version.

Thanks

Ioannis

Hi Babowa,

I did not mean to discuss any confidential .

Just wanted to check if it is ok. to use my normal Apple ID for the beta, or create another one just for that one purpose.

I don't mind if the beta device do not sync with the rest, this is why it is a beta afterall all, I was curious if having one device in beta can break the sync even between the devices that are with the current versions of MacOS, iOs between them.

I used Big Sur as an example, but it was more like a general question regarding experiences from previous betas that I assume the NDA is lifted and someone could share info? If this is not the case, my apologies.
