Just bought my new MacBook Air a week ago and would like to use the sidecar option with my iPad but I am unable to turn the AirPlay ON. The firewall is set off and allows all connections.
I restarted it. Checked bluetooth, wifi, everything is fine except that I can't turn on the Airplay.

My MacBook Air is a new one just bought a week ago: 2020. It's running Catalina MacOS version 10.15.5.
My iPad is a 5th generation. I know that to run Sidecar I need to change my iPad to be at least a 6th generation. But my question is why I am not allow on my MacBook Air to turn on the AirPlay ? The problem is on the MacBook Air setting which is disabled and won't be unable by just buying a new iPad. Thanks for your help.
