install macOS after formating

I formatted my macbook pro 2017. Now I can't install macOS. First it was showing "The Installer information on the recovery server is damaged" this issue. After i change the date a few times. This "UNTRUSTED_CERT_TITLE" this error shows up. Any idea what to do next?

Hi, nnn946.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. We’re glad you decided to reach out about the issues you’re experiencing when attempting to reinstall macOS Sierra on your MacBook Pro.

You mentioned that you erased your MacBook, are you attempting to reinstall the macOS through Internet Recovery? You can tell if you’re in Internet Recovery when you see the spinning globe instead of the Apple logo at the beginning of the sequence.

If not, try restarting your MacBook Pro and starting up with the Shift-Option-⌘-R key sequence.

You will have to make sure that the date and time are set automatically in order for the macOS installation request to successfully reach Apple servers.

All our best.

nnn946,

If you were changing the date, try formatting your drive again. Make sure that you boot into Internet Recovery with the key sequence above. Go to Disk Utility to erase the entire internal drive again (APPLE SSD… in the article below). Once the disk is erased it’s very important that you quit Disk Utility from the menu bar to go directly back to macOS Utilities and Reinstall macOS from here. If you were a beta user, you'll want to make sure you unenroll from the beta program.

If you’re still unable to reinstall the macOS software, reach out to Apple Support for guidance.
