How can you remove (and save) pages from a pdf?

You can spend money on a PDF editor (e.g. PDFpen, PDF Expert) in the Mac App Store, or not in the Apple Store (e.g. Master PDF Editor). All have free trials from the respective vendor websites.


You could also use the available Automator PDF action named Split PDF. You tell the action where to write the individual pages, and then are split, adding the suffix page1 ... pagen.pdf. You then combine the split PDF pages that you want to keep using the Combine PDF action. Probably a PITA for large quantities of PDF, but also free.
