I found a ipod and would like to return it.
I found an iPod and I want to be able to return it to its rightful owner how can I do this?

Unless there's something with the iPod that tells you how to contact the owner, you can't return it direct to that person. Apple aren't going to give you contact details for the owner, even if they have them.
The correct procedure is - if you found it in:
- a public place, such as a public street - the nearest police station to where you found it
- a shopping centre (mall) (which will be private property) - the centre's Lost Property Office
- train, bus or railway station - their Lost Property Office
- swimming pool, leisure centre, library or similar building - an official of that building
- a street store or other business - the business's manager or owner
The most obvious advice we offer here to anyone who has lost their iPod outside their home is to ask at those place, dependant upon where they last recall having it.
