Myself and my wife both have 2017 iPhone SE's. When connected to my Macbook Pro running 10.14.6, they do not show in Finder. I have already tried different cables & ports, and temporarily switching off the CD's, DVD's & iPods setting in Finder/Preferences, but still no joy. The devices do show they are charging when connected, but in iTunes, the devices do show but I cannot Manage Backups

Use the Finder to sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod with your computer

Thats great - I can at least manage the device fully within ITunes now. My understanding is that I can only manage via Finder & Wifi if I upgrade to Catalina ? - It looks like it may be worth holding off from that for a while until stability improves, do you have any experience of Catalina stability. Thanks for your help so far.
