How do I prevent unchecked songs from playing in Apple Music on my iPhone?

Frustrating that you have to listen to an entire Apple Music Playlist, even if you've unchecked various songs on Apple Music for Mac.

Appreciate the help.

I very carefully curate songs in iTunes that I want on my phone and Apple Music completely ignores that. How do I stop automatic playing similar songs in Apple Music Prior to iPadOS 16.2 there was a function the settings where you could ask the Apple Music application to stop playing after the last track in a playlist or an album. After I updated the device today the setting is gone. I double-checked my iPhone as well and I can’t find the setting there either. How do I stop my devices from continue playing similar music after last track of playlist or album?

Unchecked songs on your Mac will be synced to you iPhone through Apple Music, but if you click on Downloaded Music under Library in the Music app on your iPhone it won’t show unchecked songs.
