itunes match not working after purchase

Have purchase iTunes Match via iTunes link, have synced my library to the cloud took 3 days .Now look to sign in authorise and grey out does nothing.

Perhaps you can add some more details to this issue? You would need to sign in with your Apple ID and authorise a computer before you could enable Sync Library with either iTunes Match or Apple Music. Are you trying to access your iTunes Match library on a different computer or device, or is this issue on the computer used to upload your library?

the Mac is the computer with the library , I purchases as stated sign in with Apple ID to purchase then to approve that Mac to be synced to the cloud for Match .It then took over 2days to process the sync , no icon came up in iTunes with Matchon the left hand side screen . Went to the Match link on right side menus click , ask to authorise computer or no thanks chose authorise then program did nothing froze on that selection .

Close the Music app. Hold down Option+Cmd as you open Music and keep holding until you see a prompt about opening in Safe Mode. See if that lets you get any further. If not then can you provide a screenshot of the inactive control you're talking about. Please obscure your email address or other personal details that might be shown in any screenshot.
