Restore media

I backed up my watsapp account on my iPhone 6s in May and recently got the iPhone 11pro. My watsapp chats have all been restored but my watsapp media hasn't. When I click on the media in the chats, I can see thumbnails there but they are all black. My iPhone 6s is completely dead and won't switch on. How can I restore my watsapp media?

iPhone whatsapp restore - can overwrite old restore? Hello, I've sent my iPhone 11 Pro to the repair carrier in meantime I'm using iPhone 5 until I get my phone back. I registered to WhatsApp with my iPhone 5 and I can't restore media since there's no enough capacity. There's an option to skip media. My question is - If I click on the skip media button and I backup again WhatsApp it will overwrite all my old media? or the new media and conversation will be added to my old backup? Thanks, S

Whatsapp media files are question marks after a recent phone swap After my Iphone X suddenly went into a reboot cycle, I switched over to an older iphone 7s temporarily to get my whatsapp and communication going. All chats were backed up and icloud was updated on the X so i followed normal procedure to switch over to the 7s without realising that whatsapp images beyond a week were showing up as question marks. Once the iphone X was restored, a few days later, i switched back to the X and am unable to restore the whatsapp media files from the date of the initial swap. Msg says, this video is unavailable because it was not backed up. however, the 7s had been swapped using Icloud and the X was up to date in all regard. I am now unable to retrieve whatsapp images. Is whatsapp Pocket a legit app?
