High pitched squealing noise while on phone call

So I have had this problem with two of my phones now. My old iPhone 7 Plus and now with my XR. I upgraded phones because my local AT&T store said my speaker was going out which was causing the noise. Obviously this wasn't the issue.

When I am on a call using the speaker phone, Bluetooth, apple corded ear pods or while using the regular phone speaker, at times there will be a high pitched squealing noise on my end only. The noise does not go away after any amount of time and I always have to hang up and call the person back. I am certain this is an issue with the phone or software since it happens no matter what I am talking on. The noise has been more regular lately and is very annoying. I have to hang up and call them back and tell them the phone dropped the call because I can't hear them. I am looking for any kind of help to fix this issue. My boss is getting very annoyed that I have to hang up on customers because I can't hear them when this happens.

I am currently running IOS 13.5.1. I shut my phone down about once or twice a week. PLEASE HELP!!!
