iPad will not get out of black screen and DFU mode, nothing works.

I have a friends iPad and I see it in DFU mode. I see it in the Finder and in AC2.

I have tired everything related to the commands to get out of it.

The iPad was not dropped, put in water, or used but once or twice.

It is a smaller pro with cellular, my buddy could not tell me the last OS update.

Error from AC2:

Gave up on waiting for the device to transition from DFU state to DFU state.

Finder Error:

The iPad “iPad” could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (4005).
