Imac

So I wanted to give my a computer a clean out. So I followed a YouTube video(must have not done correctly) and ended up erasing everything. I tried command r but initially the Apple logo comes up with the load bar. But after that, it brings me to a screen where the keyboard and mouse blink back and forth. The batteries are new in both. It’s like my computer doesn’t recognize they’re connect

Imac Help When I turn on my imac, it doesn't open... It switches back and forth between telling me to turn on the mouse and the keyboard. The keyboard is plugged in through USB connection and the mouse is wireless with brand new batteries. Wondering if there is a command to use on the keyboard when turning on the computer to do a hard reset... I have nothing actually saved on the computer so resetting it wouldn't effect me. Help!! TIA :)

Trouble erasing an old iMac I am trying to erase and discard an old iMac (late 2009, Intel), High Sierra. I have performed all of the steps in the Apple support instructions up to "Use Disk Utility to erase your Mac". When I restart the iMac and immediately press Command + R, a blank screen comes on with a gray Apple logo in the middle. Nothing happens after that. Separately, if I do an ordinary startup and go into the Disk Utility and Macintosh HD, the Erase button in the menu across the top is shaded. What should I do to completely erase this iMac? Thanks

Hi,

Connect wired keyboard and mouse, if you have, then resetting Bluetooth module could solve the issue.
