Safari Cannot download file To add to wallet

I’m trying to add a store card pass to the Apple wallet from a website it gives me error safari cannot download the file. Anyone have any ideas?

i have retry numerous times and still get the error message.

Can't add pass to Apple Wallet I can't add passes to my wallet. In Safari I receive the error message 'can't download this file' and in chrome I receive the error message 'can't add this to passbook at this time'. This issue started as soon as I updated to iOS 16. I see people complaining about this issue all over the net without a single solution posted except links to the standard "how to add a pass to Apple Wallet" which is NO help whatsoever as it does not mention this issue at all, so if anyone has found a solution it would be much appreciated.

Unable to add Apple Store Gift Cards to Wallet I have tried to add some new Apple Store gift cards to my Wallet. I am using the Edit Passes method. However after scanning the QR code and selecting the “Open in Safari” selection, I get this message in Safari: This website is trying to show you a Wallet pass. Do you want to allow this? the two options are Ignore or Allow. When I select Allow, Safari does not open the add to wallet page, but returns to the Favorites page. I have tried several times, including closing Safari and Wallet.

Please ask passmarket.com whether thay have compatibility with safari.

They said they are compatible with safari it was downloaded on another iPhone in the past but now it won’t download
