Apple Music replay

I have been tracking my Apple Music replay weekly but I have had some problems with it recently. So where it states the hours of music I’ve listened to, that is updating fine weekly as is my most played songs however, the hours listened to artists is not updating for some reason as I know that I have listened to certain artists for much longer than stated. Is this an issue with Apple Music or me? And is there any way off sorting it?

Hello worzel48,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. It seems that your Apple Music Replay isn't updating correctly. Apple Music Replay uses a variety of factors to determine the statistics that you are seeing. It's possible that some of the songs played don't fall into these categories.

Check out this article for more information on how Apple Music Replay works:

Apple Music Replay on the web

Apple Music Replay also uses a variety of other factors to determine the music that you've played this year such as:

Music played on any device that's signed in to Apple Music with your Apple ID
Not including music played on devices that have "Use Listening History" turned off in Settings
Counting only music that's available in the Apple Music catalog
Songs played in your library must be synced with your Apple Music subscription
A minimum amount of plays and time spent listening to a song, artist, or album

If you are still having issues we suggest you contact Apple Support.

Cheers!
