From your photos it appears that you are experiencing lens flares. This happens when a bright source of light is shining through the lens and is a common occurrence in photography. It may be more noticeable the brighter the source of light, and the darker the environment, i.e. Street lamps at night.
This is a normal limitation of camera systems, caused by bright light sources reflecting off of lenses or other surfaces in the camera assembly. This can be limited by ensuring a bright light source is not directly in the camera focus.
