A started the trial subscription to Apple TV from my 2015 Macbook Air. Where do I enter the verification code? I have tried my password to iTunes and the code in the same box. It doesnt work. Very frustrating, we do not want to watch from our laptop.
I have done this several times. Do I enter the space between my password and the verification code? And the code has a space between the six numbers? Then do I select submit on my Apple TV or "done" on my commuter which is giving me the code?

Presumably you have an Apple TV (3rd generation). You may be asked to type in your password followed by the six-digit verification code directly into the password field.
There is a time limit before the code expires, so it is best to request a new code after entering the characters of your password, to use those precious seconds effectively for just the code.
