WiFi and Cloud printing on shared network

Our two apartments use a single router. I thought that I set up Mac and iOS WiFi and Cloud printing properly for my devices (Canon MG2700 Inkjet, iPad, iPhone and MacBook, Airport Extreme), but recently the other tenant has been powering on the printer and printing. I need to make MY printer more addressable to only myself. Obviously I had a setup step wrong, but as I look at them in Preferences on my MacBook, there's a step or trick that I'm not seeing.
