iPhone 11 Pro Max screen freeze problem

Hi, I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max which freezes a couple of times a day and even software reset won't respond. However, it appears that it queues the request and after a couple of minutes the reset takes effect. It is as if there is too much internal stuff going on and the phone does not get to act on commands. The unit is up to date on all software updates and no other issues. Has anyone experienced such an issue or have a fix for it? Thank you and be safe!

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you're having trouble with the screen on your iPhone becoming unresponsive. We are happy to share information that may help.

Try restarting your iPhone to see if that resolves the issue: Restart your iPhone.

If it's the screen that isn't responding, remove any screen protector or case from your iPhone to see if that resolves the issue.

So we can further isolate this, please reply with the following details:

You mentioned that your iPhone freezes and then resets. When your iPhone resets, does it restart? If so, what do you see on the screen when this happens?
Does this seem to happen while using a particular app?

No screen protector so unfortunately that’s not it

Let me clarify the restarting thing: when my phone freezes (which I haven’t seen a pattern with it happening on a specific app), I click the top volume + home button to shut it off, hold it for 10 seconds, and do this several more times when it doesn’t work. After about a minute, it will restart, clearly delayed. It’ll shut off to a black screen.
