Overheating of ipad

My iPad has been overheating and has now cracked the screen, and maybe the battery is leaking as the iPad does not overheat now with broken screen

If you think that battery is overheating and possibly expanding then you should immediately stop using it. Do not charge it. In fact, put it somewhere ‘safe’...batteries generate power via chemical reaction so while they are things we take for granted they are powerful things to be treated with respect.

You should make an appointment at an apple store (if they are open) or authorized service provider and have it checked out
