Fake iPhone?
Why the size of the applications in the App store is different on different iPhones? I'm talking about the same App. Does that mean you're selling fake phones?

What you explain to me about the size of the phone and the size of the app is silly.
I didn't explain it, Lawrence did. And his information is entirely factual. It's been around since iOS 9.

Your refusal to accept facts is what's silly.
I know what I'm talking about and I can prove it.
You have proof of nothing. Two different model phones will show different sizes of the same app due to app thinning. This isn't hard to understand.
(Sigh) And back to the boxes. You keep repeating this, and yet provide ZERO information about what model phone you have as opposed to what it says on the box.

Please use caution here, and only compare the app size when the iPhone itself is aligned with local magnetic north, otherwise the comparisons can be distorted. And make absolutely sure that the iPhone box has no spurious markings made with ferrous inks, and that the stickers on the box are properly aligned. If the stickers are not aligned, the magnetic resonance can deflect the field strength of the bit-polarized magnetic infrastructure, resulting in a spurious app size comparison.
But seriously...
The same app can and will be different sizes on the target device. This due to the use of app thinning and bitcode, as has been mentioned. For details on troubleshooting these topics:
Technical Note TN2432 Troubleshooting App Thinning and Bitcode Build Failures
If you suspect you have acquired a counterfeit iPhone, you will want to check directly with the folks that work for Apple.
A counterfeit device that can boot and run iOS, and that can sign in and can download and run apps from the App Store would be a fairly sophisticated and unusual counterfeit, as well. The counterfeit devices that have been reported are skinned to have a passing similarity to iPhone or iPad software, but the devices aren’t running iOS or iPadOS, and cannot access nor download nor run apps acquired from the Apple App Store.
How could that possibly mean a phone is fake? The fact you can get on the App Store means it's real.
Fakes (Android phones with an iOS lookalike interface) will add an app with the App Store icon, but can't connect. Instead, they will always throw out a fake message the server is down, can't connect, or something similar.
Until you can provide actual information, no one is going to take your paranoia even slightly seriously.
It sounds to me like you're comparing two entirely different phones and not remembering which one it was you bought as opposed to the one you think you did.
What exact phone is this? Name and model number. And there are a lot of models for the same phone. Such as, a white, 64 GB, factory unlocked iPhone 11 is MRYT2LL/A. You can also get the model number right from the phone in Settings > General > About. Does that model number match what it says on the box?
And you still haven't provided one shred of information that tells us anything about either the phone, or the box.
Believe it or not, we're not mind readers and we can't see what you're looking at. So, do you want help or not?
Things are connected. First, Apple provided all the information about their products, including the size of the boxes. Second, comparing the size of the same app in the App Store to two or more iPhones, I found that they did not match.
So there is a connection that Apple no longer says how big a box is and an app has different information on two phones. What is the app in question and what size do you see? I would like to see what I get on my phone. What is the connection?
There's no point in comparing sizes. There are two versions of Lirum Device Info. A Lite version and a paid $2.99 version. Those will of course have different sizes. And no, I'm not buying something I don't need or want just to tell you the app's size.
It’s not clear if you are asking about the size in MB of an application, or the physical size of the phone that you want to install the application on. You say “why the size of the applications in the App store”, but then reference an old thread about the size of the box a phone comes in. So your posts make no sense at all.
However, I will address the size of an application. Apps have a fixed code base and then code extensions that are for the specific device you will install the app on (things such as screen size and the version of the processor). Only the extensions that are needed by your specific model phone are included in the app when you download it. This is a process called “app thinning” and its purpose is so storage on your phone is not wasted with code your specific model doesn’t need.
Nobody makes you buy the app, the size can be seen in the description. Personally, I went to an authorized Apple store and compared the two iPhones that were on display and there was a difference. This is not just for one application. I tried a few.
Did you read Lawrence's response, at all? Different phones will result in the same app being different sizes.
And again. The fact that you can access the App Store at all means you have a genuine iPhone. Only Apple's own products can do that. There is no App Store access for Windows, Android, or any other product.
What you explain to me about the size of the phone and the size of the app is silly. I know what I'm talking about and I can prove it. It is interesting why Apple hid the information about the size of the boxes?
What do the size of the boxes have to do with the size of apps, which is what you asked about?
This thread has gone off into never-never-land. I will just continue following it for the humor it contains.
Please show us your proof, we would be very grateful to see it. I am more than willing to humble myself and listen to what you have to say. Actual proof is key to what you have to say, as Kurt has been backing up his statements with evidence and links to show his claims.
You have provided us with nothing but posts in reply. I took your post "Lirum Device Info" and went to the App Store. I searched for said app and found 2 versions the full paid version and a free Lite version.
I looked at the info on the app pages and screenshot each of them. The apps have different sizes for download.
As for the possible fake iPhone, please enlighten us as to where it was purchased it and how much was paid for it.
We would like to help you but it's extremely difficult when you don't share evidence to back up your claims.
