iTunes Smart Playlist Question

Does anyone out there know how to construct a smart playlist that places every song in my library in a queue list, and if a song is played, iTunes would send that song to the end of the list? Skipping wouldn’t affect a songs placement in the line.

Hi Dream Extractor,

There is nothing in Smart Playlist logic that allows you to put certain songs into certain positions. The Smart Playlist rules only decide if the song is or isn't included.

Are you trying to preferentially play the songs that have not been played in a while, and avoid repeating songs that have been played recently? If so, you can do that as follows: Build a new one-rule playlist that includes all songs in your library, limited to 10 songs (or pick a number), chosen by Least Recently Played, Live Updating enabled. Then play from that list instead of from the full library.

As a song is played, it will vanish from the list and immediately be replaced by one you have not heard in a while. It can go forever like that.
