robo calls

Is anyone else getting tons of robo calls 949 area code stating that your icloud account has been compromised? I'm thinking this is a scam, but I can't get ahold of anyone from Apple Support to verify or tell me what to do to stop. Every time I block, they call back from another number.

I did change my password to be safe. Thx

They are a scam. Apple doesn't make unsolicited phone calls. If there was a problem you would be notified when attempting to log in, including when logging into this forum. Also see: Recognize and avoid phishing messages, phony support calls, and other scams - Apple Support

Also, the caller id number shown on scam and marketing calls is rarely the number actually originating the call. The number is usually spoofed.

It is definitely a scam, and there have been numerous similar posts here recently.

Apple does not make such calls.

All such calls are scams from criminals attempting to steal your personal and financial information. The callers will often use number spoofing to pretend they are calling from a legitimate business. The correct course of action is to hang up on them, repeatedly if needed.
