If I just bought a phone and it’s all set up but still doesn’t have enough space on the phone itself Would they have to change the phone or the chip for more storage on the phone itself ?

If you need more space on your phone you will need to delete something or purchase a new phone with more storage. You cannot add more storage to a phone.
