Apple Music randomly swapping explicit for clean version of songs.

Why does Apple Music randomly swap out explicit songs that I have added to my library for the clean version? I have made sure to TRIPLE CHECK it is the explicit version when adding new music, yet down the line during a playlist shuffle the song will play and it's the clean version. This happens randomly to random songs, even sometimes showing half of an album I have in my library as explicit and half as clean.

Hello abroda,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities! We see you're having an issue with explicit songs being replaced by clean songs in your Music library, and we'd like to do what we can to help.

Check for a Screen Time restriction preventing explicit music at Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Content Restrictions > Music, Podcasts & News > Is Explicit shown?

Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

If Explicit is shown as allowed, try changing the option, change it back to Explicit, restart your device and see if the you still see the same issue.

If so, then we recommend contacting Apple Support for Apple Music: Get Support

Take care!
