iOS 13.5.1 - cannot import VCF file received in Mail app

My colleague sent me an email with a VCF file containing about 50 contacts so that I can import them in Contacts.

But the Mail app on iOS 13.5.1 (on iPhone 8) does not offer importing the contacts from the VCF files, which was possible in many earlier iOS versions.

Is there a workaround?

Oh, the problem was caused by misformatted VCF file.

After correcting the file, the Mail app is offering the import of contacts from the file.
