I have followed the instructions provided to activate wifi calling on my new SE with xfinity. But, when I return to the previous screen to see if it took, it always reverts to - off. I've spent hours with xfinity on this matter and they raised their hands and said to contact apple. At a loss.
My problem, Sterling, was self imposed. Commonly known as "operator error" Lol. I came to find out. My problem was not having the location application activated. As such, it couldn't verify my entry as being valid. It was the final step at activating wifi calling with Comcast/Xfinity. I had turned that application off at some time previously, not knowing but, now realizing that it affects most everything.

Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Communities. We understand you are unable to enable Wi-Fi calling on your iPhone SE.
"If you can't turn on or use Wi-Fi Calling, make sure that your carrier offers Wi-Fi Calling and that your devices have the latest software. Then, follow these steps if you can't turn on Wi-Fi Calling or make a Wi-Fi call. Wait two minutes before you go from one step to the next.
