My 2019 MacBook Air will not recognize my Canon T3i camera

Any ideas? My previous MacBook Air 2015 recognized the same camera with no problem. I would attach the cable, turn the camera on, and the Photos program would open automatically.

You need to update your EOS Utility software:

I link to the 1D X III page since the T3i page doesn't offer up the latest version, v3.12.10a.
